How To Make a Donation or Pledge

  • Getting a Donation Link

    1. You may receive an invitation email through ReadaFun. Click the link in the email to open your dedicated donation page. If you were expecting an email but haven't received one yet, check your promotions or spam folder.
    2. You may receive or view a link to support the student's reading by text message, by email, or on social media. Open that link to go to the donation page.

  • Making Your Donation or Pledge

    1. On the donation page, choose your donation amount from the options, or click "Other" and enter a different amount.
    2. If you received an invitation email, you can choose to donate a fixed amount or to make a per-reading pledge. If you clicked the link to support the student's reading, you can donate a fixed amount, but you can't make a per-reading pledge.
    3. Enter your payment information (for a fixed donation) and click "Donate" or "Make Pledge," then confirm the amount.

  • After You Donate

    1. You will be redirected to a Thank You page that confirms your donation or pledge.
    2. If you made a donation (fixed amount), you can download your donation receipt from the Thank You page. You will also receive a Thank You email with a link to your receipt.
    3. If you received your invitation email from ReadaFun, after making your donation or pledge you can recommend a book for them to read and can visit the student's profile, where you can view, "like" and comment on their reading!

  • Fulfilling a Per-Reading Pledge

    1. At the end of the event, you will receive a reminder email to fulfill your pledge. Click the button in the email.
    2. On the fulfillment page, you can adjust your donation amount up or down if you would like to donate more or less than your original pledge.
    3. Enter your payment information and submit. See "After You Donate" for instructions on downloading your donation receipt.

I made a pledge per reading amount, but I meant to make a flat donation. What do I do?

Please contact ReadaFun Support to change your donation.

I made a pledge per reading amount and I want to change the per reading amount. What do I do?

Wait until the end of the event. When you get your fulfillment email, follow the link. You can adjust your donation amount at that point, and then fulfill your donation.

I've entered my payment information and it will not accept it. What do I do?

ReadaFun works best in the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, or Firefox. If possible, use one of these browsers. If you continue to have issues, please contact us.
